These handmade Kenyan one-of-a-kind bag/totes are made from sisal and recycled plastic. Once the basket is complete it is then lined with a traditional 100% cotton Kikoy material and finished with adjustable, knotted leather straps. Kenyan artisans create these beautiful and durable baskets, with traditional weaving skills producing high-quality and elegant products. This helps to maintain the tradition of weaving and provides income and wellbeing to the communities. We collaborate with one of our partners ‘Jacaranda creations’ for the Kikoy & leather work.
